junior coaching timetable

With a rich tradition of nurturing talent, Cassiobury TC offers a safe, welcoming place to play. Our coaching team is qualified and highly experienced, with a track record of producing nationally ranked Junior players.

We take child welfare extremely seriously, and a club Welfare Officer upholds the most up-to-date child protection policies.

The emphasis is on having fun while learning techniques, rules of the game, scoring, and fair play.

Junior tennis is organized according to age and ability, following the LTA’s mini-tennis and Junior systems. We offer group and individual coaching, as well as team play and matchplay competitions for all categories.

junior holiday camps

The coaching team also offer junior tennis camps in the school holidays. Lots of activities to help children enjoy as they learn to play/ improve their game.

Details of any upcoming camps will be provided throughout each year via the club email newsletter and the information boards in and around the clubhouse. See the example right.

tennis leaders course

We’ve run a very successful Tennis Leaders course for older juniors (14+) to learn to teach and support the coaching pros at the club.

This is the first step for any further coaching qualifications, is great as an achievement in its own right and counts towards a GCSE in physical education, as well as offering a chance for Juniors to earn some cash for helping out at the club.

Contact coach Angie Gunn for details.
