The ideal way to begin playing and making friends at your new club.
We have a number of recurring mainly informal Social events plus our first-Sunday-of-the-month American Tournament
The Club operates a variety of differing socials. All of them bar the Tuesday morning Men’s Social are simply turn up and play, no pre-registration needed. More details can be found on page three of your Playing Guide.
If you’re a beginner, you may struggle to keep up at social tennis, so check with a club coach first to see if you can play at the right standard. It’s a great way to meet people and enjoy your tennis.
Team matches and squad practice take priority over all other court use when necessary. This rarely affects the Socials but, if so, communications will be sent to members.

The club American Tournament is held on the first Sunday of each month from April to November, running from 0945 to 1230.
It is a fast paced series of round-robin doubles matches open to Over 18 Intermediate players and above. The tournament is ongoing month to month and the eventual winner is declared after the last round of the year.
